Yesterday I went to Beerenberg Farm (Which is a high quality company that makes Jams and Sauces in Adelaide only about 20mins out of the city) with one of my besties Dani who asked me to come with her for fun. Ive been wanting to go to Beerenberg for ages since i knew about it and that you can do Strawberries picking to...what more could a fruit loving vegan ask for! Literally could be picking strawberries all day! I think i left 5kgs heaver from all the strawberries i ate as i was picking at the same time but seriously nothing is better then eating sun ripped strawberries and picking them fresh of the plant! If your in Adelaide i highly suggest with family or Friends to go to Beerenberg Farm and strawberry pick yourself - www.beerenberg.com.au

Ok so I have waited 7 years for this moment and it’s done! Hands down the best musical I’ve ever seen so thinking about buying another ticket to see it again! The cast fucking killed it and looked amazing! Seriously tho the show was how i pictured it to be! Everyone was so perfect and I need to re-live that AGAIN! I bought VIP tickets so i finally got the recognition i deserved lol jks but the seats were killer and omg how i need to relive it again! Of course i bought merch so here is all the merch i got! I bought one of the shirts they had on sale, there was about 3 different designs and the mug + pin! The booklets and VIP tickets came with the VIP pack! Also im very impressed with how good the booklet makes me room look now lol
Christmas Day I just had a really nice simple day with my family and enjoyed the summer weather! To be honest we never really do much for Christmas but stay home and just enjoy the day and if any friends are free we welcome them over to enjoy the day to! Heres a couple of photos what my family gave me + i was very lucky this year to received alot of gifts from my beautiful overseas friends to but just wanted to share the things my family got me as i was so excited to finally get a PS4 and i had noo idea my mum was gonna get me the rugrats pop vinyls + jigsaw! Also got spoiled with some amazing vegan makeup that im really excited to reviews on! I hope everyone had a lovely day with there loved ones and family!
5am was the go time for the start of the road trip from Adelaide to Sale which is a 3+ Hour drive from Melbourne with a total of 10 hours of driving! The views were stunning with the sunrise to be honest the fisheye lens doesn't do it any justice! As crazy as waking up at 4am may seem its so worth it! Im not gonna write to much about the roadtrip as i want to keep it sorta personal but i would love to share the photos i toke along the way! Sometime in for the 10hour drive, to be honest it didn't even feel that long and i enjoined it so much i seriously loved getting outta the city and just chilling out having no worries but what you had with you and the road itself! Heres a few photos i toke in the van on the way im pretty sure we were a few hours in maybe like 6 or 7? Heres a few photos i toke when we got to Sale and the house we were staying at! Super cute and beautiful tho typical Victorian weather! The next day we drove around sale and just chilled out in the van + visited Lake Guthridge which was so stunning! Heres a few photos I toke on the plane ride after the road trip to head back to Adelaide! |
This is my little Vegan Festival haul! I did buy more but its all Christmas gifts so I cant show them but this is what I bought myself! I got a bunch of stuff from Nzuri Organics and Oh Deer Sugar! I will soon be writing a review about all the products I bought so be on the look out for that! |
Lately Ive been enjoying long walks, hikes and just getting out and exploring what my state has to offer + since the weather has started warming up again yesterday was the perfect day to do a beach walk but toke it to the extreme and walked from Henley Beach to Glenelg which was really really enjoyable as both beaches are so stunning some of the nicest beaches I would say in Australia (wouldn't suggest doing this big walk from both for everyone as it is a 7K + walk each way but you can also bike ride but if you love walking and have all day i would suggest making time for it!) The views and weather was perfect for the day and im so happy I went with my hiking buddy again Dani! We didn't rush it but toke our time we left at about 1:30pm and didn't get home to about 8:00pm but it was such a good day to be out in the sun! Ive talked heaps about Glenelg and how beautiful, relaxing and friendly the whole vibe of the place is with its AMAZING food! |
So we parked the car at Henley beach and walked all the way, which i think it toke us over about 1hour and 15mins just cause we stopped so much looking at all them views + we saw 2 sleepy lizards along the way (thats what there called "sleepy lizards" google it lol). Once we got to Glenelg we check out the Beach House and went to get Acai Bowls from my favorite shop Bomdia Bowls and surprisingly Dani had never been there so it was a perfect day to go again! After that we walked down the main street to check out a few shops and boutiques + also went to The Source Bulk Foods and got a few goodies to take home + the Glenelg Health Foods store which sells amazing vegan pies! If you ever come to Adelaide be sure to check out the beaches and mostly Glenelg as it has so much for everyone and is a lovely place if its either to hang out, grab something to eat, take the family or go for a walk! Alot of vegan options and friendly people everywhere!
Yesterday me and one of my friends (Dani) did the Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty Hike which is a very popular walking trail here in Adelaide South Australia! Its super beautiful and a bit challenging but everyone can do it at there own pace! I don't know how long we toke but we just power walked our way all the way while talking and catching up as Dani had been traveling overseas for the past few months so we had ALOT to catch up on! If your in the Adelaide area and haven't done the hike I would suggest you to do it with friends or family there is a cafe at the bottom and the top so you can sit and chill and take as long as you like! Perfect to for photography and getting a look at wildlife sometimes if your lucky you will see a koala! |
After that we went to go get vegan sushi from a local sushi cafe for lunch and then headed to The Parade (The parade is just the name for a popular street here in Adelaide which is full of unique shops and boutiques) We headed there trying to find some vegan snacks but we also ended up finding this cute shop I didn't get the name of that had Miffy things, cute cuckoo clocks, handmade items and hard to find unique children toys it was super cute and the child within me was dying!
After having a walk down the street we headed to my favorite crystal shop called Crystal Wave to buy some crystals and Dani hadnt been there in ages! I forgot to take some photos of the shop itself but I ended up buying myself and my mum a gift of a Chakra Crystal Bracelet each and a RainBow Aura (Cobalt) Crystal that ive never seen before the photo doesn't do it any good but it has a purple tone to it and shimmers in the light as you move it! haven't bought myself a crystal in ages and i thought after all of today it was a perfect treat! I really enjoy my day so much i didn't want it to end i love spending time with people who love the same things as me and just going at your own pace I love exploring what my own city has to offer and being out in nature! Everyone should try and explore there own city you'll be surprised what you find and there is so many free things to do as well you don't have to spend money when you go out to see beautiful things and have fun! :)
Since the sun was finally out and spring started showing itself we thought it was a perfect day to hit Plant 4 Bowden (+ Lana hadn't been there and being a vegan i was shook!) Plant 4 Bowden would have to been one of the most chilled, family friendly and layed back sorta places with amazing food, music and over all the atmosphere is so happy! We got a Mojo Kombucha vegan dumplings and the most amazing VEGAN SUNDAY by LiveALittleGelato! LOOK AT IT!
After that we headed in to the city to Goodies And Grains got fresh pressed juices for them health gains and walked to Rundal Mall for some window shopping and sussing! YES I manged to walk past lush with out buying anything THERE IS A GOD!
After that we headed to Glenelg for a bit and sat on the grass to chilled out, people watched and walked along the street tho it was super busy as a fun run is on tomorrow and every single person was down there! Tho other then that its been a perfect start to the weekend and i can NOT WAIT FOR SUMMER TO GET HERE SO WE CAN SPEND ALL DAY DOWN AT THE BEACH! + I also walked past the Bomdia Bowls store that sells Acai and didn't get one so i controlled myself 2 times today lol
So it was that time of the year again for The Royal Adelaide Show (Which is basically a huge state city fair for all my overseas friends if your wondering) My family buys members tickets so we ended up going about 5 times! I love the atmosphere of the place with the fest vibes from the Rides, Food, Animals, Entertainment, and looking at all new local products + seeing all the entries from around South Australia in from Cakes, Photography, Woodwork, Crafts and much more! I toke a few photos of some of my favorite cakes outta the 1000s that were there! As you can see below!
I bought a few homemade goodies from the the South Australian Country Women's Assoc and coconut bowls handmade by The Elephant Emporium which had some of the cutest products that are environment and sustainable friendly + little bunny candles from Oxfam! I love supporting small companies and places that do good and support locals!
What would be the show without some selfies with my mum! I also did Photography at the show so be on the look out for the NEW PHOTOGRAPHY!
Lana Del Rey is one of the only pop babe i actually love her style, voice and over all no fucks given has made me love her! + Sales at Factory and Sports Girl had me!
Finally after 3 months my room is done (well as much as i want done to it now) I got a brand new build in wardrobe which ive been dying for, TV cabinet and new bookshelf and it might not look like it but i did a huge clean out and got rid of so much stuff! Might need to buy a bigger TV but to be honest i don't watch TV at all and not only in my room or anything i really only use it for white noise! Tho im so proud of how much my room has change and it feels so refreshing like im in a new house even tho im not! Change can be hard but its always for the best and its great to remember that nothing lasts for ever so its great to change it up, mix it up and its sorta inspiring to! So if your feeling a bit lots of need a change start with your room i know it sounds crazy but it will make all the difference!
Its been a while since me and Lana have seen each other and that's a big deal as we always see each other every other week but life has been so busy and to be honest the weather has been super crappy as well with it being winter and all, but this Sunday we finally got to see each other in the city to check out the little markets that were set up called "Something Something Vegan", "Gilles Street Market" and "The Market Shed"! It was the first time we went to the Something Something Vegan Market which was nice but the weather sorta ruined it as it was soo cold if it was in the summer time it would be lovely! There was so much vegan food from cupcakes, chocolates, hot and cold drinks, burgers and even jewellery and makeup + pet friendly too, we stayed for a while and got a fruit juice and Lana bought a huge vegan cookie that looked amazing! After that we froze aka walked our way to the Gilles Street Markets to check out the stalls but didn't end up getting anything but it was nice to look (tho i was close to buying a new pair of sunglasses but couldn't choose so i gave up lol) after that we walk back down to The Market Shed and not gonna lie the market shed is always my favorite the people are so friendly, the vibes are always so chilled and relaxed and they had warm warm heaters inside to! We spend most of the day walking and talking which was needed as we hadn't seen each other in ages and after that we just caught an uber back home! Tho i didn't take any pictures through the day as i forgot and just wanted to enjoy my time with lana and the day tho i did take photos of the birthday gifts she spoiled me so kindly with! I cant even put in to words how much of a good friend Lana has been but her gifts explain how much she knows me! Funny card, Simpsons merch, Lush and she bought me Dates to but anyone that knows me i ate them all straight away lol anyway i just wanna end this blog post with a shout out to Lana cause no matter what im doing freezing, stressing, crying, laughing or just being plan stupid i always love sharing the experience with you! xxxx
To Start off my birthday week I went to Bounce (which is basically a huge warehouse filled with trampolines and obstacle courses) with my friend Amy (which was so amazing cause no one was there, we had the whole place to ourselves)! Then on my birthday "day" I went and saw the Cars 3 movie with my mum (yes i did turn 23 and i still love Disney films leave me alone lol) After that I came home and opened up all my gifts with my family before we had VEGAN ICE CREAM COOKIE SANDWICH CAKE! which...was....how do i say....absolutely amazing! It was made by the wonderful Live A Little Gelato Who literary make the best vegan ice cream! For Dinner we went to the Sushi Planet which was 5+ star couldn't get over how amazing the food was and the overall place was so beautiful and friendly! Very excited to go back and recommend! Vegan + Allergy friendly, Everyone will love it definitely one of the most unique sushi places and they do way more then just sushi! Later on we went bowling and just enjoined the rest of the night! One of the best birthdays ive had as i don't really like parties and hate anything to over the top i just love doing things simple! Thankyou everyone also for all the birthday wishes x
Me and my family welcomed our new little family member to our house on the 18th of June! It wasnt planned at all but the owner of her couldn't keep her after she was born so we were asked to have her and being the big animal lovers we are we said yes! She was named Molly by her owner so we though it would be lovely to keep her name and we liked it to cause it fitted nicely with our other pets names "Miffy and Megan"! Molly was born on the 26th of april at 9:40pm! We are so lucky to have her shes so full of life, very curious and loves to explore! Cant wait to share more of Molly with everyone and vlogs of her coming soon
Literally has been more then a month since I had a girls day with my best friend (aka Lana) as she still had my Easter gift to give me!! We did our usual Market Shed run to get Green Juices and Vegan ice creams and a good chat + bitch lol Then after went to Rundal mall and found the new fully vegan friendly Beauty, cosmetic & personal care store called "Hebe & Co" so amazing and beautiful I would put it up there with Lush, it had some of the most amazing makeup products and candles WORTH A VISIT! we also visited Lush of course and a few other little shops. Perfect day other then it was a little cold but its nice to enjoy and get out in that winter sun!

Literally from Tuesday night till Thursday has been the best few days of my life! My best friend Daniel come over from NSW to come to Green Day with me here in Adelaide with my sister and another girlfriend! Ive never been this happy or excited before in my life and it felt soo good i wish it didn't have to come to an end! Ok so Tuesday night Daniel came down from NSW and we pretty much chilled out and went down to Glengle so I could share one of the amazing Acai Bowls from "Bomdia Bowls" cause its a must for all vegans to have an acai and i personally think the ones at "Bomdia Bowls" are the best in Adelaide it was so cold that night but worth it then we just went for a nice drive through the city listening to green day and freaking out how amazing tomorrow was going to be! Wednesday which was CONCERT DAY we planned the day to go back to Glengle together so we could spoil ourselves with more vegan treats, coffee and a gorgeous view! We both got Vegan Icecream sandwiches from "Live A Little Gelato" because EVERYONE that comes to Adelaide HAS to try one of these! We sat at Raw Cafe and also went for a walk along the street and went in to haighs for some vegan chocolates and did a bit of clothes shopping to and it was a simple but perfect day! We also did a bit of green day stalking and tried to find green day by catching the tram from the bay to the city and Adelaide entertainment center but had not much luck (tho we nearly got hit by the other band that was opening up for green day "The Interrupters" standing out the back lol) after stalking for a few hours we headed back home to get ready for one of the most amazing concerts ever! Ive already seen Green Day at soundwave and met them but this was there own concert in a huge area with ONLY green day fans and can i say Ive never let my problems, anxiety, fears go and had a ball! It was the best nights ever and green day was soo amazing i cant even put it in to words i sang alot like a crazy bitch, danced and finally enjoined myself and lived! 10/10 green day will never ever let you down! Green Day sound so much better live + the lights and over all performance is just crazy the crowd was so good and the ages was amazing! On one side of me i had a couple that would of been in there 70s and the other side i had a 7 year old little girl with her mum and dad! It was just amazing and i cant explain it! overall i could of died very happy that night!
Thursday post concert day we were dead but so so happy and sorta depressed it was over! We got up chilled then had brunch at Argos, went to the shops Billie Joe visited in Adelaide and stalked down the jacket he bought from Dangerfield , went to the beautiful Himeji Japaneses Gardens and also went to Everything Vegan and Crystal Wave before i sadly had to say goodbye to Daniel which was one of the sadist things ever! The fact when it all hits you its coming to an end but that doesn't mean good things like this wont happen again! So thankful for everything these past few days and with out green day i wouldn't be this happy and met so many amazing people that i know! so thankyou for everything
The Jacket Billie nought from a local small shop (Dangerfield)!
The other shop Billie Joe was spotted in called Midwest Trader
The Green Day merch i bought! Over all i love it + really good quality surprisingly for band merch! I bought myself the poster, jumper, bag and t-shirt tho Daniel surprised me with buying me the Green Day pins which are really fucking rad!
Today was the start of my amazing week! Today i met up with my lovely friend Dani again (aka my other half sister not really but should be) To do the Mt Lofty Hike which was so beautiful and a great workout! The weather was so perfect even tho its been super dark here the past few days in Adelaide! It was pretty busy but it was great to see so many other people getting out and enjoying nature! Me and Dani just toke our time mostly walking cause we were talking so much but no matter what speed you go its great to do! When we got up the top we stopped to take in the view of Adelaide and saw a few other vegan friends who biked it up there (Aka Tori and Sunnny). The way back down was the hardest part....not really "hard" but more sore on your knees as going down hill! After that we headed to the monthly vegan picnic at the Himeji Gardens to see the rest of the fellow vegans and have some amazing food! It was truly such a lovely day and had so many laughs! Was so good to see Lana, Laiken, Nicole, Rachel and a few other girls and guys we all just click and everyone is so kind and friendly! After that my mum picked me up but bought my puppy along to for the ride in the car so we got out and let her have a play in the leaves and i cant even put in to words how simple but lovely today has been and its all thanks to good people and nature! Yes this has been one amazing day and i cant wait for the rest of the week! If you haven't gone on a hike in your local area make sure you DO this week + get out with friends and have fun even if its just a small picnic or a walk you don't have to do anything crazy just get out more and enjoy life cause a day is NEVER wasted with friends or nature!
Today I spend the day with one of my wonderful friends Dani (who is much like a family member then sister to me) I toke her to my all time favorite Crystal shop (Crystal Wave) where we literally drooled over all the crystals and ended up buying a few crystalsto each cause how could you not! + I said hello to the couple of lovely women who run and work in there as they have been so lovely, supportive and much like mums to me ever since visiting there heaps and struggling in my past with my eating disorder so it was so lovely to get to visit and see them again! After that we went to Plant 4 Bowden to get some lovely green juices + a few vegan raw treats to. The plant based options there are amazing though Love all the small companies and business everyone is so lovely and support one another and its just such a great vibe + also saw a few good friends and beautiful people that are usually at The market Shed to! I swear ive said it already on my blog but if you haven't been to Plant 4 Bowden or The Market Shed YOU HAVE TO! once you go you'll understand the friendly family vibes and amazing good im talking about!
