After that we went to go get vegan sushi from a local sushi cafe for lunch and then headed to The Parade (The parade is just the name for a popular street here in Adelaide which is full of unique shops and boutiques) We headed there trying to find some vegan snacks but we also ended up finding this cute shop I didn't get the name of that had Miffy things, cute cuckoo clocks, handmade items and hard to find unique children toys it was super cute and the child within me was dying! After having a walk down the street we headed to my favorite crystal shop called Crystal Wave to buy some crystals and Dani hadnt been there in ages! I forgot to take some photos of the shop itself but I ended up buying myself and my mum a gift of a Chakra Crystal Bracelet each and a RainBow Aura (Cobalt) Crystal that ive never seen before the photo doesn't do it any good but it has a purple tone to it and shimmers in the light as you move it! haven't bought myself a crystal in ages and i thought after all of today it was a perfect treat! I really enjoy my day so much i didn't want it to end i love spending time with people who love the same things as me and just going at your own pace I love exploring what my own city has to offer and being out in nature! Everyone should try and explore there own city you'll be surprised what you find and there is so many free things to do as well you don't have to spend money when you go out to see beautiful things and have fun! :)

Since the sun was finally out and spring started showing itself we thought it was a perfect day to hit Plant 4 Bowden (+ Lana hadn't been there and being a vegan i was shook!) Plant 4 Bowden would have to been one of the most chilled, family friendly and layed back sorta places with amazing food, music and over all the atmosphere is so happy! We got a Mojo Kombucha vegan dumplings and the most amazing VEGAN SUNDAY by LiveALittleGelato! LOOK AT IT! After that we headed in to the city to Goodies And Grains got fresh pressed juices for them health gains and walked to Rundal Mall for some window shopping and sussing! YES I manged to walk past lush with out buying anything THERE IS A GOD! After that we headed to Glenelg for a bit and sat on the grass to chilled out, people watched and walked along the street tho it was super busy as a fun run is on tomorrow and every single person was down there! Tho other then that its been a perfect start to the weekend and i can NOT WAIT FOR SUMMER TO GET HERE SO WE CAN SPEND ALL DAY DOWN AT THE BEACH! + I also walked past the Bomdia Bowls store that sells Acai and didn't get one so i controlled myself 2 times today lol
So it was that time of the year again for The Royal Adelaide Show (Which is basically a huge state city fair for all my overseas friends if your wondering) My family buys members tickets so we ended up going about 5 times! I love the atmosphere of the place with the fest vibes from the Rides, Food, Animals, Entertainment, and looking at all new local products + seeing all the entries from around South Australia in from Cakes, Photography, Woodwork, Crafts and much more! I toke a few photos of some of my favorite cakes outta the 1000s that were there! As you can see below! I bought a few homemade goodies from the the South Australian Country Women's Assoc and coconut bowls handmade by The Elephant Emporium which had some of the cutest products that are environment and sustainable friendly + little bunny candles from Oxfam! I love supporting small companies and places that do good and support locals! What would be the show without some selfies with my mum! I also did Photography at the show so be on the look out for the NEW PHOTOGRAPHY! |
