Once again it was that time of year for the Adelaide Vegan Festival! I went last year so I had to go again + Vegan Foods hello! So i went both days, on Saturday i went with my family and then with a few friends on Sunday! Both days were amazing it was packed and had such a awesome vibe! My family isn't vegan but they enjoined it and it was a lovely day to get out and enjoy some good music, food and meet new local business! I meet James Aspey and saw Joey Carbstrong on the main stage which was amazing his work and speeches are incredible and really inspiring! I also met the lovely lady behind the amazing Nzuri Organics Skin Line rang! As for food I shared a bunch of different hot meals with my family from an Indian curry, Turkish bread and sushi bowl because there was so much i couldn't pick so we shared everything lol but bought myself an Iced Coffee, Green Juices and 2 Ice creams cause why not! There was so many stalls other then just food but beauty products, skin care, kids toys and alot of free things for kids to do as well! Its really a perfect family day out even if your not vegan because the vibes are so happy, friendly and everyone is welcome + your learning about sustainable lifestyle and supporting local businesses! If you missed out this year be sure to check it out next year! - Adelaide vegan festival + heres a FREE Ebook of some of the Festivals treats to make yourself - Vegan CookBook 2017

So we parked the car at Henley beach and walked all the way, which i think it toke us over about 1hour and 15mins just cause we stopped so much looking at all them views + we saw 2 sleepy lizards along the way (thats what there called "sleepy lizards" google it lol). Once we got to Glenelg we check out the Beach House and went to get Acai Bowls from my favorite shop Bomdia Bowls and surprisingly Dani had never been there so it was a perfect day to go again! After that we walked down the main street to check out a few shops and boutiques + also went to The Source Bulk Foods and got a few goodies to take home + the Glenelg Health Foods store which sells amazing vegan pies! If you ever come to Adelaide be sure to check out the beaches and mostly Glenelg as it has so much for everyone and is a lovely place if its either to hang out, grab something to eat, take the family or go for a walk! Alot of vegan options and friendly people everywhere! |
